Dear Drivers,
Once again, thanks for entering the 2017 12 Hour Endurance. It’s quite literally “all hands on deck” for team Rye to ensure everything is in order & ready for “The Daddy” of all events. That said we’re all buzzing to get the show on the road!!!
Whilst we are busy doing our bit, it’s absolutely vital that you guys do your bit:
READ THE RULES & REGS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE – A drivers briefing will be delivered prior to racing however we do expect every driver to be well aware of the rules before hand.
TURN UP ON TIME!!! – As per your booking confirmation, we expect all members from all teams to be here on time. Anyone who don’t make drivers briefing will be unable to participate.
BRING SOME HEADPHONES – This year see’s Sir Alex Goldschmidt on the commentary mic. Not only will Alex be keeping tabs on all the action on track but he will also be updating team info across the World Wide Web. That’s right! Your friends & family can tune in to the commentary whilst watching the race unfold via live timing….
BE SAFE!!! – We know the thought of winning is glorious but let’s not forget its “A 12 HOUR RACE….”, don’t be a silly billy!
ENJOY YOURSELF – Anyone not smiling will be penalised 🙂 On a serious note, we will not tolerate any abusive or threatening behaviour to staff or other drivers. We will do our best to ensure everything runs as it should. Any misbehaving on or off the race track will be dealt with accordingly!
