RHG are thrilled to announce that the raceway will be returning ‘on track’ on Monday 6th July.
Since closing the doors on the 19th March due to Covid-19, (like many other companies) we are slowly beginning to drip-feed more and more life back into the leisure venue.
With industry guidance becoming clearer, the venue owners now feel comfortable to open to public leisure subject to sensible boundaries.
Sam Green – Race Director “In order to remain vigilant, careful planning of where, how and when we introduce activity is absolutely vital to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. We have exercised lots of distancing measures on site and we are lucky enough to have the space to do this well!
Temporary barriers have been used throughout the venue to re-direct customers. Alternative buildings which we don’t normally use have been utilised to help the flow of activity. PPE is available free of charge to staff and customers. Naturally, we have upped our game with the overall cleanliness of the equipment we are supplying to our hire customers including new balaclavas and new gloves for every driver. We have also invested in an industrial O-Zone sanitising unit to ensure suits and crash helmets are cleansed to the highest standard in between bookings.
Whilst it doesn’t necessarily look pretty, we are doing our best to get back to what we love – RACING!”
Karting will now be open for the general public to book as follows;
From Monday 6th, RHG will be allowing people to book into existing open events subject to availability. This means if 1 or 2 of you fancy joining us for an event, give us a call and we will add you to it.
For any new bookings, a minimum requirement of 5 karts must be booked. Simply call us with a time and date and we’d be delighted to process your booking subject to availability.
The booking office will remain open from 9:30am – 12:30pm – 7 days a week on: 01992 460895
