Senna Cup 2018 Hire Kart Championships
Already 20 drivers on the grid!!!!
After the success of the last five 9 seasons, 2018 will also see a Grand Prix championship, the Senna Cup, that we will be running for drivers that don’t have the preparation time available to compete in race meetings as “owner” drivers but still want to get all the extra benefits that becoming a club racer offers!
Novices and newcomers welcome:
There are two formats run on an alternate month basis:
The Senna format (GP1), which features a 15 mins. qualifying followed griding up and then a race through to the end of the hour….!!!
The Lotus format: 5 mins practice and then “two” races back to back (est. 25 mins ea.) from reverse grid positions.
With arrival 60 minutes before qualifying start and the races finishing 60 minutes after the start of qualifying, the session should require you here for about 2.5 hrs “arrival to departure” allowing for the post race presentation (and an après race pint perhaps?).
After each race the top three drivers will receive trophies and ALL entrants will get their own “lap time certificate”. Naturally many drivers will want to use their own racewear but we will have all kit available if required.
Fair and friendly:
There are ten rounds in total (once per month), the first (February) is a friendly, the remainder are point scored with the best “eight”counting.

Rye House Drivers Club:
Each driver will get FREE membership to the Rye House drivers Club. The championships will get FULL web exposure on our own web-site with regular updates to the championship points. There will be a full championship presentation to include an annual trophy. Driver’s club members receive preferential rates on practice events.
Dates/Pricing and Registration: Please contact the sales office, we look for commitment to the whole Senna Cup but payment can be over a “few months”.
