The London Cup is the longest established major kart competition in the UK. Held at Rye House each year, which according to David Couthard is the Silverstone of karting and to everyone else the Monaco of Hertfordshire!
Acknowledged as probably one of the most technical tracks in the country and with one of the sharpest turns there is at the infield hairpin it bears striking similarities to Buckmore Park as both were designed by Doug Jest and the racing first started at Rye House in 1961.
